Nausheen Khuddus, MD, is a seasoned and amiable board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus specialist. At Columbia Eye Associates & Family Focus Eye Care with three locations in Lake City, Live Oak, and Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Khuddus provides the highest caliber of ophthalmic care. Dr. Khuddus leads the Gainesville office and works closely with an attentive team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and technicians.

Dr. Khuddus graduated from Chicago Medical School before completing her residency in general ophthalmology and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Dr. Khuddus is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She’s facilitated over 30 original publications, lectures, and presentations.

Dr. Khuddus has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of eye diseases and conditions, such as dry eyes, glaucoma, and cataracts. She was the medical director of Florida Kidsight Foundation in Gainesville and the associate professor at the University of Florida where she’s won numerous awards, including Faculty of the Year in 2013 and the Exemplary Teaching Award from the College of Medicine in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Dr. Khuddus specializes in care for common childhood eye disorders. She offers comprehensive medical intervention for children with neuro-ophthalmic disorders, cancer, anterior segment, inherited and neonatal retinal disorders, and more.
